Purdue professor’s system helps make crops resilient against pests

This 2023 IEEE Mildred Dresselhaus Recipient, Melba Crawford, is currently contributing to developing improved strategies for applications of nutrients and herbicides to crops. Through her contributions to plant breeding, she is helping improve the security and resilience of food production internationally.
